It will allow you to make blocks and quilts that combine different angles (wedges) with the following degrees: 5, 9, 10, 15, 18, 20, 25, 30, 36, 40, 45, 50, and 60. After cutting your triangles to the desired degree, you can then use the wedge “slots” to cut off the point of the triangle and obtain an exact ¼” seam allowance.
