Collection Description: We named our version of the original 1860-61 New England quilt, Comfort, for its beauty and simplicity. We loved the quiltmaker’s use of 2 different alternate blocks and her original placement of the fabrics in the nine patches. We will donate the proceeds from this collection to the American Red Cross for Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief to offer support and comfort to our friends and colleagues in Japan as they rebuild their lives and country.
