I have fond memories of going with my Grandmother to visit her twin maiden aunts, Aunt Purdy and Aunt Dode. They lived in a wonderful Victorian house with a wrap-around porch and a round turreted room. It looked like a castle to me! In the parlor they would serve us tea in pretty little cups along with tiny cookies. The parlor had no corners, and no one was ever allowed to play there.
