Northern Cardinals- 6421 16 – Green Fir by Holly Taylor for Moda fabrics. Fabric is all new premium quality 100% Moda cotton. Sold by the quarter yard in continuous quarter yard increments. If only one quarter yard is purchased fabric is cut by “fat quarter” (a fat quarter is 1/4 of a yard, only cut on the half yard, so instead of being 9″ by 44″, it measures approximately 18″ by 22″). Collection Description: One of the first sounds I heard one morning was the sweet whistle of the Northern Cardinal. I could not take my eyes off of its beauty. The red color was so amazing. It stood out against the wintery backyard. Another favorite winter friend is the Black-capped Chickadee, they both bring joy at sight and make winter more bearable. They were the inspiration for this Holiday line. We hope the prints we have designed to accompany them do them justice.
