Seneca Falls – Historic Pattern By Brackman & Thompson This 1941 Kansas City Star pattern, is a simple nine-patch of triangles and squares set to form chains and stars. The “Contrary Wife” describes well the women like Lucy Stone who refused to take her husband’s name and Franny Kemble who railed against her husband’s slave-holding empire.
