Collection Description: Following the death of our father, my siblings, mother and I lived with our Grandmother and Grandfather Laird for a year until our new house was finished. One day my Grandmother, Audra, brought some of her beautiful irises over to plant in our new yard. Years later when my mother sold the house, we each dug some of the irises to plant at our own houses. Every year in April when they bloom I remember my Grandmother and her beautiful iris garden – Audra’s Iris Garden. This fabric line is dedicated to my grandparents, Audra and Ralph Laird. The richness and depth of the colors and fabrics reflects the richness and depth of their lives.
