Collections Community Quilt Kit by Howard Marcus Fabrics in this collection were reproduced from an 1840’s cotton and chintz quilt from Maine. The quilt is part of the Howard Marcus Collection. See close up photo of quilt. As an avid collector of antique quilts and textiles, Howard Marcus Dunn, Moda’s founder and owner, continues to use his passion to give back to the quilting community. Moda donates proceeds from the sales of the Collection for a Cause fabric collections to various charities and causes. The newest collection, Community, is the 15th in the Collection for a Cause Series. Proceeds from this latest Collection will be donated to the Libby Lehman Medical Fund to support and honor designer, lecturer and teacher, Libby Lehman, as she continues her recovery from a stroke. The “Community” quilt, the original 1840’s cotton and chintz quilt found in Maine, recognizes and honors the generous, talented and creative individuals who share a common passion for quilting, textiles and design. Kit includes pattern, pre-cut strips for quilt top and the binding. Fabric is all new 100% premium quality Moda cotton. Finished quilt measures approx. 83″ x 69″.
