Heritage 1846 (10th anniversary) Quilt Kit……Fabric is by Howard Marcus for Moda fabrics. The original quilt was made in Baltimore, Maryland. The quilt was begun in 1830 and completed in 1846. This kit includes all the Moda Heritage 1846 fabric and easy color illustrated pattern to produce a finished quilt top that measures approximately 91″ x 91″ just as shown in photo above. Binding is included, backing and batting not included. Blue bird print has been replaced by the blue sprigs & berries print of the Heritage Collection. Fabric is 100% premium quality Moda cotton. Fabric Collection Description: The fabrics for this collection were pulled from a 19th century antique quilt. Every piece was painstakingly reproduced in historical detail in an effort to maintain the beautiful balance that the original quilt contained. The original quilt was made in Baltimore, Maryland. The quilt was begun in 1830 & completed in 1846. Moda states that all proceeds from this collection will go to benefit Ovarian Cancer.
